WEEK 5

Classes 8 and 9

Dear students,

How are you? Last week we did plenty of things although on Tuesday you were nearly asleep during the lesson!!

We learnt the ordinal numbers and practised them with a game. We continued with the simple present and daily routines. We learnt to tell the time in English and the usage of in, on and at.
We discovered the Hot Potatoe game and had great fun revising vocabulary.

Halloween is near. Are you going to dress up? We will talk about it next Tuesday during our lesson.

Dear students,

Did you have a nice weekend?
During this week lessons we learnt how to tell the time in English. We improved our listening skills and practised using the present simple. We did some role plays, you are really good actors!

We revised the possesive adjectives with the Simpsons and learnt the frequency adverbs with a text about an island in Japan, we had great fun playing simple games like Who Am I? with the Simpsons and solving a crossword about animals.

Hello everybody!

Last week Ana and Rubén joined our class. We are seven now!!!
We did our first listening comprehension exercise and made really good role plays.
We continued learning new vocabulary about hotels, animals and common objects. We played Bingo and gained plenty of points.

Hi!

During today's lesson we learnt vocabulary about jobs. We played I spy with my little eye... and STOP!
As an assignment students have to write a short composition about themselves.

Hello everybody!

During our second lesson two new students, Pedro and Jonathan joined our group. We learnt the negative and the interrogative forms of the verb to be, we revised numbers and spelling.

We had a great time and got a lot of points for the Olympic games.

In today's lesson we revised a lot of things. We played a spelling game and "I spy with my little eye". We learnt how to introduce ourselves and others, tell their nationalty and the languages they speak.

I was surprised by how well Tania and Nerea remembered the verb "to be" and how to read phone numbers.

Each student got 4 points for the Olympic games.
